Are you a passionate Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are a leading education recruitment agency working closely with a reputable secondary school in the Sheffield and Rotherham area, seeking a dynamic and engaging Geography specialist to join their team immediately.
The Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, preparing them for their GCSEs. This full-time position will see you inspire students to explore the world around them, fostering a love for geography while adhering to the national curriculum.
Key Responsibilities: - Planning and delivering engaging geography lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Supporting students in preparing for exams and coursework.
- Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the teaching and learning experience across the department.
What We Are Looking For: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
