Personal Tax Manager - Manchester City Centre

Up to £60,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

We are recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and provide high-quality advisory and compliance services.

The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.
• Oversee the preparation and review of personal tax returns, trust returns, and inheritance tax accounts.
• Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, international tax, and trusts.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and manage compliance matters.
• Mentor and support junior tax team members.
• Stay up to date with tax legislation and manage WIP and billing processes.

What we're looking for:

• ATT/CTA/STEP qualified or equivalent experience
• At least five years' experience in professional practice
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax, including CGT, IHT, and residence rules
• Experience managing client relationships and tax portfolios
• Ability to mentor junior staff and review work
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
