Your new companyYou will be joining a prominent international law firm that has been established for over 125 years as an accounts assistant on a 12-month FTC. Looking for an immediately available candidate with a minimum of 2 years direct experience, ideally within a law firm.

Your new roleYou will be joining the busy management and financial accounting team as their financial accounting assistant.

• Maintenance of fixed assets, leasehold and cars registers
• Maintenance of Xcelerate reporting system
• Running and reconciling Xcelerate reports, including P&L
• Maintenance of 3E master files (GL)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management of prepayments
• Processing journals and adjustments to the general ledger
• Production of covenants P&L reports
• UK & Swiss VAT Return
• Support of major functions held within the team: management accounts, statutory accounts, audit, cash flow, banking arrangements
• Assist with various 3E projects, including review of aged balances
• Assist with expense system Chrome River

What you'll need to succeedYou will be an enthusiastic individual who is an excellent communicator, with a high attention to detail. A minimum of 2 years experience working within a law firm is preferable. You will have the ability to manage high volumes of competing deliveries and knowledge of Solicitors Accounting Rules (SARs).
