Role Overview:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 2. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and assessing the progress of your students to ensure they meet their academic potential. You will be working closely with other teaching staff and school leaders to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging lessons in line with the current Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Use a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their best.
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and school leaders to enhance student outcomes.
Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to update them on their child's progress.
Ensure the effective management of classroom behaviour, promoting respect and cooperation.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A strong understanding of the current Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Proven experience of teaching KS2 students with a passion for creating engaging and effective lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational practices.
