Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge? We are hiring a Roadside HGV Technician to provide breakdown and emergency repair services across Tipton and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading fleet maintenance company offering excellent salary packages, company van, career progression, and full training.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend HGV roadside breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.

Perform emergency repairs on brakes, suspension, and axles.

Conduct welding and structural repairs when required.

Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.

Ensure all work is compliant with safety and industry standards.

Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.

Provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients under pressure.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter.

Ability to work independently and respond quickly to breakdowns.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Full UK driving license (HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential).

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

IRTEC accreditation.

Industry-recognized qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in HGV Repair).

Experience with tail lifts, lifting decks, or double-deck trailer maintenance.
