Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transportation Specialist / Transport Scheduler for our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and communicating transportation & services with both internal teams and 3rd party carriers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Scheduling transportation with internal teams and external carriers
• Communicating with clients and customers to schedule collections and deliveries
• Contacting external clients to schedule orders
• Resolving issues throughout the lifecycle of the job from pickup to delivery
• Overseeing and ensuring the safe and cost-effective delivery of company and customer owned product
• Scheduling on site services
• Maintaining routing guides & monitoring compliance
• Monitoring carrier performance
• Communicating shipping information with internal teams and external customers

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Experience in logistics or supply chain (minimum 1 year)
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, everchanging environment

Working hours are Monday - Friday 35 hours per week.

Hybrid working is available after completion of training period with a requirement to attend the office twice weekly.

In return our client offers a salary up to £27,500 per annum, 22 days annual leave + bank holidays increasing each year of service to a maximum of 26.
