TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist for our client based in North Wales (Deeside). This is an excellent opportunity to join this busy and expanding team. Our client is a very well-established & award-winning business communications company, who have been established for more than 20 years.

WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:

  • Basic salary is £25k.
  • Additional annual attendance bonus and company bonus.
  • Monday to Friday working hours - 9am to 5:30pm (or 8.30am - 5pm)
  • Hybrid working opportunities after training / probationary period.
  • 20 days holiday which increases by 1 day each year (max 30 days), plus bank holidays.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST’SDAY:

  • This role encompasses both internal and external customer service, provisioning hardware, fault diagnostics and ongoing product support.
  • To provide an excellent Customer Service Experience and manage client expectations.
  • To manage faults, requests, and enquiries on behalf of the customer in relation to Broadband & Hosted Telephony.
  • To provide day to day product support and training to existing customers.
  • Occasional site visits to resolve issues when required.

  • Excellent knowledge of the following:
  • Network hardware such as PC’s, Routers and Firewalls
  • Networking TCP/IP, DNS, VPN’s and Router configuration
  • Hosted / IP Telephony systems & SIP Trunks
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to manage your own time effectively.
  • A logical approach to problem solving, with the ability to see an issue through to a suitable conclusion.
