Machine Operator (Roto-Moulding)

West London
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

Our client, a leading provider in manufacturing custom and durable products for various industries, is seeking a Machine Operator with a strong focus on roto-moulding operations. The role requires hands-on experience in operating machinery and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in roto-moulded production.

Job Summary
The Machine Operator will play a key role in the manufacturing team by ensuring efficient operation of roto-moulding machinery, quality control, and adherence to safety guidelines. Previous experience in rotational moulding is preferred, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operator Operations: Operate and monitor roto-moulding machines, ensuring all production targets are met.
Machine Setup & Maintenance: Set up equipment, adjust machine settings as needed, and conduct routine maintenance to keep machines operating smoothly.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any issues to the Team Leader.
Production Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production schedules, reporting potential delays to supervisors as needed.
Material Handling: Safely load and unload raw materials and finished goods, ensuring correct materials for each production run.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work area.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth production processes, share knowledge, and assist in training as needed.
Qualifications and Experience

Experience: Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of roto-moulding (training available).
Technical Skills: Familiarity with roto-moulding equipment and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle materials safely and stand for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for quality control and issue detection.
Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive, positive attitude.
Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations for a manufacturing environment.
