Early Years Practitioner

Teaching Personnel are looking for fantastic new teaching assistants who specialise in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to join our team due to high demand from our schools and Nurseries in Brighton.

We are able to offer work on a part time and a full time basis in a variety of nurseries and schools across the area.

Duties:

• Assist with the development of children both emotionally and academically

• Communicate with the teachers to create strategies for learning

• Work together with the primary care giver to help make each day a positive, happy experience for the children

• Help create a safe learning environment where children feel comfortable and therefore thrive

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will have some experience inside the EYFS environment, potentially within schools or nurseries. Experience working as a teaching assistant or learning support assistant is desired.

Alongside this, the candidate should:

• Highly motivated to help every pupil achieve their full potential

• Willing to develop unique strategies to encourage and care for individual students

• Passionate about the care and development of every child

• Experience dealing with a variety of behavioural types from young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
