We are searching for an experienced, dynamic leader to lead our incredible team at Arcade Battersea, one of London's premier, critically acclaimed, multi-faceted, independent venues. This isn't your 'off the shelf' General Manager role!

The Arcade Restaurant

Located in the heart of Battersea PowerStation, Arcade showcases our core philosophy of creating multiple unique food brands, championing great talent, and delivering all this, to the table, under one roof.

Food brands from all around the world fill the space, and delivered right to your table from southern Thai, North Indian Street food, Middle Eastern shawarma, American diner-style dishes, Indonesian, Japanese and now... with flavours influenced from Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, & Argentina 🍔🌮🧆🥘

Drinks from our destination bar, are created using fresh market ingredients to mirror the flavours of the kitchens and a fully packed calendar of events completes the line-up 🍹🍻

 

About the General Manager role

At the heart of this General Manager role is a deep interest for great, fresh Food and Drinks that goes way beyond your professional career, working with some of the most talented chefs (…and bar creatives) in the country… leading teams across Front of House, Bar, and Kitchen… collaborating closely with our events team - driving revenue, profit, and exceptional service standards, with an inherent ability to drive excellence in every facet of the business.

This role requires an excellent eye for detail, and a comprehensive management toolkit - including a demonstrable ability to manage team performance through senior teams, leading recruitment with a clear understanding of skills required, skills development and focus on senior team skillset blend, Arcade leaders champion a programme of SMART training and development to deliver operational excellence and efficiency through a team of leaders with diverse skill sets.

On the numbers you will display excellent financial acumen and ability to deliver to targets on both top and bottom lines…

You'll work closely with Directors to shape business strategies which optimise revenue, and maintain Arcade's renowned culture.
