HVAC Engineer required for our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in West Yorkshire that specialises in projects and contracts within the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Electrical, and Renewables sector's.

HVAC Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
Company van provided, with personal use available
40 hour working week, Monday - Friday
Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours, with additional rates agreed for any weekend/evening work undertaken
Door to door travel paid
32 days holiday, including bank holidays

They work largely within the commercial sector, with their client base including a number of schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

Due to consistent expansion, our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong technical background in the servicing and maintenance of Air Conditioning and Mechanical equipment including VRV's, VRF's, and AHU's. The ideal HVAC Engineer will also have experience working on Refrigeration and other Mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, boilers, and heat pumps, but this experience is desirable and not essential.

HVAC Engineer Position Responsibilities

Completing regular servicing on Air Conditioning and Mechanical equipment in commercial settings
Diagnosing faults with HVAC equipment and completing repairs on site
Working alongside the wider M&E team, including plumbing and heating teams to complete large-scale projects
Travelling across Yorkshire and the Humber, with the main bulk of the work taking place in West YorkshireHVAC Engineer Position Requirements

Experience completing servicing and maintenance on Air Conditioning equipment essential
Previous experience working on additional mechanical equipment, i.e. AHU's, pumps, motors, chillers, and heat pumps desirable
Full UK driving licence
Either currently hold or confident in being able to get an Enhanced DBS certificate upon starting
