Working hours 8.30 – 15.30

Pay: £85 - £96 per day

GSL is working on behalf of a lovely school in Rusholme, M14 looking to recruit a Learning Support Practitioner to start ASAP and will carry on in the new academic year. The school has a warm and welcoming environment and is looking for a strong Learning Support Practitioner.

As a learning support Practitioner in Rusholme, M14, you will be expected to be a mentor for the pupils, create a positive learning environment, and be a positive role model for all pupils.

Your roles and responsibilities as a learning support Practitioner in year 1:

-            Liaise with the class teacher

-            Provide tailored support to each pupil who requires it

-            Behavior support – Managing classroom behavior and must have strong behavior management skills

-            Inclusive support

-            Promote student interactions and involvement

-            A good understanding of Phonics

-            Must have experience of supporting in key stage 1

To be considered for this opportunity in Rusholme, M14:

-            Background in education – Must have previous experience working within schools in the UK

-            Must have relevant qualifications – Degree, Further Education, Teaching Assistant Qualifications or equivalent
