Senior Security Engineer - Up to £40,000k - Sheffield or South Yorkshire

Join an established Technology Services and Network Solutions business as a Senior Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and installling CCTV and door security systems.

* Previous experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV systems and door security systems.

* Experience with access control systems, alarm systems, and related security technology.

Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, including analog and IP cameras.

* Knowledge of different types of door security systems, such as electronic locks, magnetic locks, and intercom systems.

* Familiarity with access control systems, including biometric and card-based systems.

* Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and switches.

* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.

* Competence in using tools and equipment relevant to security system installation and maintenance.

Certifications:

* Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.

* Manufacturer-specific certifications for systems being installed, such as certifications from Hikvision, Axis Communications, or Bosch.

* Driving license
