Position: Linux Infrastructure Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: London (on-site)
Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Clearance: DV (Enhanced) required prior to work starting

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Linux-based infrastructure to sustain and decommission two key IT platforms consisting of Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns. This role requires working on task packages allocated on a 10-week cadence from a backlog of deliverables and aligned with organizational-wide PI planning cadences.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and sustain Linux-based infrastructure.
Decommission key IT platforms as required.
Align tasks with organizational PI planning cadences.
Ensure system security and efficiency.Desired Skills:

Experience with Redhat and Debian operating systems.
Proficiency with container operating systems and technologies (K8S, K3S, EKS, AKS, GKS).
Knowledge of F5, Traefik, Service Mesh, Consul, and Istio.
Familiarity with NIFI, Kafka, Active Directory (AD), DNS management, Group Policy, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and system hardening techniques.Requirements:

Proven experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively within a structured task package allocation system.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.What We Offer:
