An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Structural Engineer to join a leading structural steel company based in Manchester. This role involves working on a diverse range of structural steel projects, covering all stages from design and analysis through to construction. The position offers the chance to apply your expertise within a dynamic and growing organisation, making a real impact on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyse structural steel components, ensuring compliance with safety, industry, and client standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility, quality, and safety.
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide technical expertise.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, calculations, and project reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring best practices in structural engineering and steel fabrication are followed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally within structural steel projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and industry regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage tasks.
