This role involves working on a diverse range of structural steel projects, covering all stages from design and analysis through to construction. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse structural steel components, ensuring compliance with safety, industry, and client standards.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility, quality, and safety.
- Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide technical expertise.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, calculations, and project reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring best practices in structural engineering and steel fabrication are followed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally within structural steel projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and industry regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage tasks.
