Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Band 8a: £50,952 - £57,349

37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our innovative and expanding integrated sexual health services.

Following the success of recruiting ACPs within our existing teams we now have an exciting opportunity for a qualified ANP/ACP to join our Greater Manchester service.

The postholder will have completed the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Experience/skills in sexual health and or contraception are preferred.

The post holder will be based in Greater Manchester and will lead in the innovation of sexual health care in the communities to the most vulnerable and marginalised groups, ensuring that those with the greatest need are supported to access sexual health services. The post holder will lead and support experienced clinical and non-clinical colleagues to develop, implement, and review best practise both on outreach and the main clinical hubs.

The post holder will lead on training, audit, research and work alongside the other ANP/ACP's working in sexual health services.

This will include service delivery in community sites and non-clinical venues i.e., Sex on premises sites, Hostels, and places of residence.

The post holder will uphold the 4 pillars of advanced clinical practise and will lead on clinical governance, audit, and research.

The post holder will utilise contemporary data to maximise service delivery and improve the public health outcomes across the district. This will include working collaboratively with key partners and the wider teams across Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire.
