Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities:

Work closely with the class teacher to support children with a range of SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges
Provide individual and group support, helping pupils access learning and make progress
Assist in implementing individual learning plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Help to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentWhat We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are key

- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
