NJR Recruitment are pleased to bring forward a new opportunity available for an SME Account Handler to work for one of our key clients, a leading UK insurance brokerage, as part of one of their specialist teams in their South Manchester office.

This is a great position which will suit an Account Handler with experience dealing with SME clients across a range of commercial products which will provide you with long term opportunities to progress and develop within your insurance career.

As a SME Account Handler in this highly regarded broking organisation, you will be the first port of call for all your clients' insurance queries and questions. You will be responsible for gaining an understanding of the client's business and assessing their insurance needs.

This is a great opportunity sitting within one of their specialist teams which will suit an Account Handler with solid SME commercial experience or somebody from a Personal Lines broking background.

Salary for the position is up to £32,000 dependent on experience with a range of benefits included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing mid-term adjustments.
• Negotiating renewals with insurers and clients.
• Dealing with cancellations.
• Identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities.
• Maintaining regular contact and building long lasting and effective working relationships with your clients and other internal and external parties.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within commercial insurance dealing with SME clients is ideal for the role, though good Personal Lines experience may also be considered.
• Knowledge across a good range of different commercial products.
• The desire to learn, develop and progress within a career in insurance.
• Able to demonstrate confident communication and relationship management skills.
• Keen eye for detail, possessing exceptional organisation and administrative skills.
