About the Role:

Full-time position: Work Monday to Friday during term-time.
Flexible and rewarding: Engage with children who have special educational needs and help them thrive.
Travel required: You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

What We're Looking For:

This role suits candidates with a background or experience in:

Supporting children with learning difficulties or behavioural challenges.
Working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, or other SEND needs.
Psychology, care work, mentoring, or youth/community work.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or group support for children with additional needs.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create tailored learning plans.
Assist with daily tasks and encourage social, emotional, and academic development.
Manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.

Requirements:

A UK driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required).
A DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education (support provided).
A passion for working with children with SEND and a proactive approach to supporting their development.
