* The average gross salary for Service Engineers in this company can be upto £60,000 per annum dependant on applicant's experience, skillset, knowledge, commitment & application.

Remit:

* As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of robotics and ancillary equipment into predominantly the plastic injection moulding industry

* The successful candidate will have good robotics/automation machinery skills, and be electrically bias, with strong electro-mechanical skills and trained in 16th/17th or 18th wiring regulations. Ideally the role will be 70% electrical / 30% mechanical application.

* Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be flexible to the work schedule, as travel is required throughout the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities:

* As a Service Engineer, you will take care of the installation & commissioning of robots and automation cells supplied to customers throughout the UK & Ireland. You will also carry out onsite and offsite training for customers, along with service and preventative maintenance work.

* Regular travel will be required during the working week. A company vehicle and fuel will be provided. Accommodation and subsistence expenses will be covered by the company.

* As Service Engineer you will provide breakdown assistance both at customers sites and by telephone.

* You will program and test new installations, and to make modifications to existing installations.

* The Service Engineer will be expected to travel within the UK and Republic of Ireland with extensive travel and periods away from home

Experience Requirements:

* You will hold a recognised qualification in engineering, ideally technical training in electro-mechanical engineering

* 16th, 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations certification is essential

* Previous experience working with robotics and/or automation is essential

* A background in machinery maintenance, servicing and installation, ideally within the injection moulding industry: other industry sectors will be considered.

* Previous experience working as a Service Engineer will be highly advantageous

* Excellent communication skills & a professional manner

* Self-motivated, reliable and must be able to work unsupervised to tight deadlines, adhering to all Health & Safety working procedures
