Manchester City Centre - hybrid, Tuesdays required in the office

£25,500 - £35,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and make a meaningful impact? Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable People Services Advisor to provide exceptional support and advice across a range of people-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice and administrative support in line with SLAs and deadlines for all people-related processes.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, offering robust and pragmatic advice to colleagues and managers.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in employee relations cases, particularly in sickness absence management.
  • Apply and adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring their correct implementation.
  • Offer first- and second-line support to colleagues and managers, handling queries and providing accurate information.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation on people matters.
  • Support formal people-related meetings, including taking minutes and drafting associated correspondence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and offering innovative solutions.
  • Assist with implantation of new HR system

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced HR team, providing first-level advice on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to establish credibility and effective relationships with peers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and ensuring positive interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivation and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills, adapting to a fast-paced and varied environment.
