As a Senior Application Support Engineer you will join a small, collaborative team responsible for client support; you'll gain an indepth understanding of the company's suite of products and own the resolution of 2nd and 3rd line support issues. You'll also dive into production issues and client integration tickets, working with the codebase and releasing your own code and system changes into production.

This is a senior, hands-on role with mentoring and technical leadership responsibilities in collaboration with the Team Lead.

WFH Policy:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues once a week in the London, City office. Please not there are some varying shift patterns, earliest start 0730, latest finish 1830 and an on-call requirement one in six weeks.

About you:

You are a senior Application Support Engineer, happy to coach, mentor and provide technical leadership (not people management) to a small team (3-4)
You have a strong knowledge of Linux OS
You have strong SQL skills including writing queries / commands, MySQL experience would be great
You're able to script or code with any programming language, Perl or bash would be great
You have a good understanding of networking technologies
Ideally you will have experience within a financial services environment
You're collaborative, with excellent client and customer service skills
You have achieved a BSc Computer Science degree or similar technical disciplineApply now
