* Manage the quality department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while delivering quality outcomes.

* Oversee routine quality audits, inspections, and assessments, ensuring any non-conformances are addressed promptly and effectively.

* Analyse quality data, producing actionable insights and identifying root causes of issues to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

* Act as the main point of contact for all quality-related matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolution of quality concerns.

* Ensure all quality documentation is up to date and in compliance with industry standards, including ISO certifications.

* Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, offering recommendations for process optimisation and risk mitigation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

* Hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with managing health and safety in a steel manufacturing context.
