My client is looking for an experienced Welder to join their rapidly growing company.

The Role: Welder/Fabricator

The Hours: Monday - Friday 08: 30 - 17:30

Location: Ashington

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Job role

• Mild steel MIG welding for the manufacture of excavator attachments brackets

• Occasional repairs to hire fleet and customer excavator attachments
• Excavator bucket repairs
• Some workshop machining - Lathe, bandsaw and pillar drill
• Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition.
• Ensure that the Company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Candidate requirements:

• Gas cutting experience required
• Experience Welder
• Bucket repair experience preferred
• Forklift truck trained
• Attention to detail
• Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
