Our client, based in Wickford, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to facilitate smooth sales operations.
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders within agreed deadlines, showcasing your attention to detail and commitment to meeting customer needs.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date customer records, providing the foundation for effective account management and nurturing strong customer relationships.
  • Be the friendly face of our client, building relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical advice when needed, resolve customer inquiries satisfactorily, and conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative assistance to the sales team, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with customers and internal teams alike.
  • Utilise SAGE and CRM software to manage customer information, track sales activities and performance, and support sales representatives.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues.
  • Track and analyse sales metrics using spreadsheets and other tools, providing valuable insights to measure and report sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a sales administration or customer support role.
  • Proficient in using CRM software.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
