The Document Controller will provide support to the business and learn the relevant skills and knowledge to assist the Management team and Document Control. Once you have completed training, you will assist the company in managing the registration, receipt, distribution, and issue of all project documentation, assist with and collate O&M Manuals, manage all incoming and going project documentation including drawings. Record keeping of each document's status and revisions.

Uploading and distributing drawings and documents to the relevant EDMS systems. Ensuring that the latest revisions are available.

Referencing documents with numbers and file names, uploading them to various EDMS systems in line with BIM in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650.

Gain a full understanding and sound knowledge of EDMS systems that GSI are requested to use by our clients. Including, Cognica, Acconex, Zutec, Fieldview, 4P Viewpoint, Edocuments, Asite, Plexus & DocHosting.

Learn and gain an understanding of GSI's most popular services offered and product range used in order to create precise O&M Manuals and Technical Specifications.

Generate Technical Submittals & Technical Projects Packs.

Upload project documents and records to 4P Viewpoint and Fieldview.

Ensuring that Firestopping reports, Fire Certificates and Operations & Maintenance manuals are available at the end of the project in a format agreed between ourselves and the client.

Liasing with our Clients Document Controllers to ensure our documents are correctly uploaded in a timely manner.

Project set up on Boris software, checking and uploading drawings.

Creating Draft Operations & Maintenance Manuals at the beginning of each project.
