Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit hardworking and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Smethwick.

The school want to appoint an enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking and committed staff in EYFS, to raise standards and outcomes for our children.
The successful candidate must display energy and determination to support us in our drive towards continuing to raise standards. Therefore, they are looking for:
EYFS specialism essential Knowledge and Experience with SEND in EYFS Is a caring professional. Has a clear understanding of the early years curriculum Has a dynamic and creative approach to learning Has high expectations of attainment and behaviour Has energy and enthusiasm, an open and positive approach Is able to work supportively and work in a team
JOB DETAILS:Location - Smethwick Position - Level 3 Teaching Assistant Type of work - Early Years Foundation Stage Contract or position start date- ASAP Duration - term time only Contract or position end date - July 2024 Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (or recognised equivalent qualification)
- Experience in schools preferred
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yea
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
