Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum

Macildowie are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development professional to join a brilliant Public Sector organisation on a permanent basis.

As a Learning and Development Business Partner, you will play a role in aligning learning and development strategies with the organisations mission, vision, and values. You will collaborate closely with leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs, design and deliver effective learning programs, and foster a culture of continuous development. Your focus will be on driving employee growth, enhancing skills, and ultimately contributing to the overall success of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders to understand organisational goals and training needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and areas for development.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies.
  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and initiatives using various methods.
  • Create career and learning pathways to aid employee progression.
  • Develop leadership development solutions to build capability and retain talent.
  • Support the institution's well being and EDI agenda through learning interventions and engagement events.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning interventions and return on investment.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees.
  • Integrate learning and development with talent management processes.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the organisation.
  • Proactively promote Safeguarding practice, EDI, Health and Safety, and the well-being of all students and employees.
  • Ensure responsibilities are carried out in line with the organisations standards, vision, and values.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators aiming for continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experienced in learning & development, talent management, and organisational development roles; experience designing and delivering training programs and workshops.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems and other relevant technology platforms;
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, solution-focused approach, excellent communication and delivery skills, and commitment to staying current with professional practices.
