With a strong pipeline of projects, including schemes in the £50m+ range, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in high-profile developments.

The Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for major projects, ensuring financial success from inception to completion. You will lead cost control, risk management, procurement, and contract administration, while providing strategic commercial insight to ensure project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead the commercial management of major projects (£50m+)
✅ Develop procurement strategies and manage key subcontractor packages
✅ Oversee cost planning, forecasting, and reporting at senior level
✅ Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks
✅ Ensure compliance with contracts
✅ Support and mentor junior commercial team members
✅ Act as a key commercial interface with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in main contracting
Strong background in managing projects of £50m+ value
Extensive knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive commercial strategy and ensure project profitability
Full UK driving licence (travel across the West of Scotland required)
