Vehicle Transport Planner

Location - Leighton Buzzard / Hybrid

Salary - £32,000 - £38,000

Essential : Must have had experience working for a vehicle logistics company to apply.

Our client has a fleet of 20 vehicle transporters and operations across the UK. The role is to ensure the seamless delivery of vehicles to customers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating transport operations, keeping costs under control while meeting customer requirements and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, schedule, and allocate vehicle movements efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.

* Liaise with drivers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

* Monitor real-time vehicle performance and address issues promptly.

* Utilize transport management systems (TMS) and other tools to optimize routes and reduce costs.

* Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.

* Communicate effectively with customers about delivery schedules and updates.

* Analyse performance data and create reports to identify areas for improvement.
