Health & Safety Advisor

Location - Travel mainly based around Home Counties some National

Aria Care are excited to offer a new position to an experienced and driven Health and Safety Advisor. We are looking for someone to join us who will bring knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Health and Safety within our Care Homes across the UK. Travel will be a requirement for this role therefore a full clean driving licence is needed and ability to travel to site daily with possible overnight stays when necessary.

This role will see our new colleague co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. They will establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within the organisation are adhered to through working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of the company's vision, priorities, and services.

You will primarily be supporting Home Managers and Regional Directors with the delivery of the company H&S policy including the management of H&S and compliance alongside the Head of Health & Safety in a proactive manner.

Requirements

• IOSH Membership - CMIOSH or actively working towards
• NEBOSH Diploma/H&S Qualification Level 6 (minimum)
• Practical experience, post qualification as a professional within the Health and Safety field.
• Experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector (Desirable)
• Experience of H&S auditing (Essential)
• Good understanding of all H&S legislation, codes of practice and guidance
• Experience of working in a fast-paced multi-sited organisation
