We are seeking skilled Cable Assemblers to join our team working in a busy and expanding company based in Slough.

The Cable Assembler will have previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, crimping and terminating cables.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wiring techniques and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

This role requires working at a fast pace to complete a high volume of work.

This role is repetitive and will require candidates to have a keen attention to detail.

Cable Assembler Responsibilities:

Preparing cables, cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires and cables
Using various hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons to prepare and assemble cables
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics
Assembling and terminating connectors and harnesses
Testing and inspecting cable assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specificationsCable Assembler Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cable assembler, wire person, or similar role
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in cable assembly
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and quality
