I am supporting a Private Equity backed Consumer business with their search for a Finance Manager.

The senior business leaders are ambitious, supportive, and truly hands on; and keen to develop others. This is a newly created role following rapid company growth.

Reporting into the impressive Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have a broad remit which includes delivering commercial insight and managing a small team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop two qualified management accountants including performance reviews and recruitment where necessary
• Business partner with key stakeholders across various departments outside of finance - providing monthly analysis vs. budgets; and participating in commercial meetings across the business
• Support the Managing Director with budgeting, forecasting and general financial planning - offering insights into financial performance
• Bridge the gap between finance and non-finance teams in relation to the overall business strategy
• P&L ownership - offering insight and analysis - and reporting on budget vs. actuals
• Support and analyse month end reporting processes
• Full month ownership - including delegating to team members
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and general finance operations across the business
• Support Group FC in liaising with external auditors

Essential candidate criteria:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred)
• Demonstrable experience in management / financial reporting
• Personality and gravitas to add value from a commercial / strategy POV
• Drive and ambition!

Package:

• £70-80,000 salary
• c10% bonus
