Tradewind Recruitment require a Music Teacher to work in a mixed 11-16 mainstream secondary school in North Birmingham ASAP and from September 2024.

Our client is a well established secondary school catering to the local community near Handsworeth and Smethwick. This Music teacher supply role is full-time, initially a temporary supply role with a view to permanent. The candidate will need to be dynamic, motivated and able to give every one of their pupils the opportunity to explore, solve, create and achieve.

This vibrant North Birmingham secondary school is a successful place of learning which offers students and staff a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. You will be predominantly working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students and will potentially have the opportunity to lead a small team of Music teachers.

Salary expectations do depend on experience but will be between MPS1 - UPS3 to scale on supply from day 1.

To be successful for this role you will need to:

• Have experience working with students aged 11-16 in a UK school
• Have a PGCE or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Music to GCSE & A Level students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
• CVs must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal Right to work in the UK
