Class 2 Day Driver

The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:
- Making multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
- Working closely with the network hubs.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills for Class 2 Day Driver:
- Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

- Salary for Class 2 Day Driver is between £33,347pa - £38,209pa and MORE! Depending on hours worked.
- Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30hrs.
