The role of Assistant Accountant

• Bank reconciliation
• Credit control - chasing debt then escalating to management if required
• Supporting with fortnightly and monthly timesheets for payroll
• Supporting Financial Controller with ad hoc duties
• Resolve customer invoice queries
• VAT return preparation
• Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of ledgers
• Subcontractor weekly invoices

The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Accountant

• Proficiency in Excel is essential
• Experience in Xero is desired
