On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a semi-acute facility in Dublin. 

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all patient care needs.
• Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring patient outcomes and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Experience working in step-down, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development.
