Role Overview:

As UKI Tax Manager, you'll take full ownership of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities across the UK and Ireland. You will: lead and review corporation tax, VAT, and other statutory returns; oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting under USGAAP; manage communications with HMRC and ensure all regulatory obligations are met; guide internal stakeholders on VAT treatments and tax processes; lead automation initiatives and support digital tax transformation; oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of tax positions; manage outsourced providers and act as a key point of contact within the business.

Candidate Profile:

To succeed in this role, you will need: ACA or equivalent qualification, with a strong technical accounting foundation; a minimum of 5 years' UK tax experience, ideally from a Big 4 or similar environment; solid understanding of UK Corporate Tax, VAT, and Customs; experience with tax reporting systems such as SAP and HFM; proven ability to manage external advisors, auditors, and outsourced teams; strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
