Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16 to join our vibrant school community in Gateshead. Responsibilities of Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16:

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
Support the planning and execution of educational activities and events.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements of Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16:

Must be a graduate.
A degree in any discipline.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine interest in working with young people.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
