About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Swindon. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting students with their academic and personal development, both inside and outside of the classroom. If you're enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a positive impact on students' learning experiences, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in a variety of subjects, assisting with their learning and development.
Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and help create an inclusive learning environment.
Support students with additional needs, helping them to build confidence and reach their full potential.
Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform lesson planning and adjustments.
Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their education.
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Experience working with students with special educational needs is a plus (but not essential).
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
