Job Description:

BDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join a well-established estate agency in March, Cambridgeshire. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to deliver comprehensive, whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice in a thriving property market. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling mortgage cases up to £800k, with an average property value of £280k, allowing for strong earning potential.

Main Duties:

• As a Mortgage Advisor in March, Cambridgeshire, you will work with a highly motivated team of professional introducers to generate leads. This includes an average of 10 new mortgage appointments each week, sourced through incentivized referrals and a well-established client base.
• The role involves writing 2-3 mortgage cases per week, with an average case size of £2,400, which includes both broker and proc fees, as well as associated life insurance business.
• Benefit from a sliding commission scale, with each case bringing in £240 to £600, depending on the mortgage size and additional products sold.
• Historically, Mortgage Advisors in this branch have earned between £180,000 - £200,000 in banking figures annually, translating to earnings of £90,000 - £110,000.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in mortgage advice and brokering.
• Experience offering advice on protection policies such as life, critical illness cover (CIC), and income protection plans (IPP).
• A clean credit history, strong compliance record, and no criminal convictions are essential for this role.
• A full UK driving licence is required for this position, as travel between client meetings may be necessary.
