We are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join our Pay and Bill team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to showcase their expertise in running contractor and staff payroll, as well as leading and supervising the payroll and billing team here at Carrington West.

As a payroll team leader, you will:

* Manage and supervise the existing payroll and billing team, ensuring they feel supported in their everyday roles

* Ensure that weekly payroll is completed accurately and timely

* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with directors and consultants

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a payroll team leader would be:

* Managing. leading and supervising the payroll and billing team, providing support, guidance and training

* Leading the team to accurately enter 1,200+ timesheets weekly

* Being the first point of contact for contractor timesheet queries from consultants

* Exporting payment files

* Reviewing timesheets for errors and/or omissions

* Reporting to HMRC

* Generating sales invoices

* Debtors reviews

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To be successful you will:

* Have experience in managing, supervising or managing a team

* Have previous payroll experience

* Be competent with system usage

* Have great attention to detail

* Have prior experience in contractor payroll, this is favourable but not necessary

* Have a CIPP qualification, this is favourable but not necessary as we can enroll you into courses to further progress your career!
