Hoop PS&HR are thrilled to partner with a values-driven organisation based in Rhondda Cynon Taff, committed to prioritising both their employees and the community. As a proudly accredited Living Wage employer, our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated People Advisor to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This role offers a salary of £33,000 per annum, flexible, hybrid working with a 4-day work week to support a balanced and people-focused work environment.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting managers and colleagues with expert advice on HR best practices, policies, and procedures. This role requires a proactive, people-focused approach and a strong background in employee relations, policy guidance, and general HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, working closely with union representatives to address concerns and resolve workplace matters.
Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring alignment with HR best practices and the organisation's values.
Contribute to a range of HR functions, including payroll, pensions, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
Support the training function by sourcing third-party providers, updating training records, and providing administrative assistance.
Oversee and manage absence, sickness, occupational health, and performance management processes to ensure a healthy and productive workplace.
Maintain accurate data in the HR Information System (HRIS) and provide support on key HR projects.To be successful in this role, you will need to be approachable, highly people-focused, and able to handle complex HR issues confidently. Key requirements include:

CIPD Qualification
Significant Experience in Employee Relations, with a proven ability to handle complex cases and resolve issues effectively
Excellent Communication Skills for engaging with managers, colleagues, and union representatives
