  • Surrey (hybrid - 3 days in + 2 from home)
  • Up to £35,000 DOE + bonus

We are partnering with a leading gift and home accessories brand known for their quality, trend-led ranges supplied to retailers globally. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a dynamic and ambitious E-Commerce Merchandiser to join their team. This role will be pivotal in driving the future growth of their Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business and helping to execute their ambitious international expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities in this eCommerce Executive role:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance customer acquisition, segmentation, and retention, driving sales growth across digital platforms, including the Shopify website and Amazon marketplaces.
  • Execute the international Amazon strategy and spearhead the expansion of the D2C business into new global markets.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to deliver engaging online campaigns, from email marketing to product launches, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards.
  • Continuously monitor and optimise site performance using Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, and social ads to maximize user experience and sales.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, providing actionable recommendations to drive the e-commerce strategy forward.
  • Work closely with the fulfilment and sales teams to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences, and manage the relationship with web developers for ongoing site maintenance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process from product upload to customer delivery, ensuring all deadlines and budgeted sales targets are met.
  • Ensure web banners, imagery, video content, and product pages are up-to-date and engaging. Manage the upload and launch of new products, and oversee the blog strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and creative team.
  • Build strong, genuine relationships with key decision-makers, using insights to suggest new products and identify opportunities to grow key accounts.
  • Assist the Commercial Director in setting e-commerce budgets and provide ongoing forecasting across B2C sales channels.

Key requirements in this role:

  • Minimum of 2 years of e-commerce experience, particularly with Shopify and Amazon platforms, with a proven ability to drive D2C sales.
  • Experience managing SEO, PPC, Google & Social Ads, and Amazon Seller & Vendor Central.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and strategy execution.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and budget management.
  • A data-driven mindset with a talent for turning insights into successful strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, creative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • A collaborative team player who is persistent, resilient, and has a positive attitude.
  • Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
