Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

An award winning, branded luxury food business based in the Cotswolds manufacture a range of branded products which are sold globally into wholesale, retail and direct to consumer sales channels.

Job Summary

Currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, organised, team player with great interpersonal skills and production planning and purchasing experience to join a busy Operations team.

Reporting to:

Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:


· Create weekly production schedules to ensure that they produce enough goods for all sales orders to be fulfilled on time in full (OTIF), while ensuring that they are not overstocked on any items.


· Purchase all materials and ensure that they’re delivered in-time (to prevent any disruptions to the production plan) and in-budget, while ensuring that they are not overstocked on any materials.


· Create longer-term production plans to flatline the company’s peaks in demand and reduce the company’s dependency on temporary labour in busy periods.


· Keep the Sales team informed of any delays or disruptions to the production plan that may affect the ship date of sales orders.


· Support the Warehouse Manager on ad hoc work and projects.

Essential Qualifications:


· Minimum 2 years experience in Production Planning or Procurement.


· Minimum 2 years experience in food manufacturing.


· Minimum 2 years experience working with Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics 365) or a similar ERP system.
