Masterstaff are proud to be representing a well-established UK based manufacturer in their search for an experienced General Manager.

The successful General Manager will be responsible for:

* Day to day management and leadership of the production team

* Planning and managing the production schedule in line with weekly sales stock inventory forecasts and production capacities

* Managing departmental costs and budgets

* Identifying and minimising any areas of downtime to increase productivity

* Utilising lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

* Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards, production, and safety regulations.

* Health & Safety experience.

To be considered for this role you will have :

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Have strong leadership skills

* A background in manufacturing or production

* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, inventory control, and supply chain operations surrounding

* Strong administrative and communication skills.

* Experience in negotiation and operational administration.

* Knowledge of Sage 200 is a plus

* The ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
