Production Engineer - Permanent, On site, - Production Engineering, Manufacturing Processes

We are seeking a Production Engineer to support with our clients specification, installation, commissioning and approval of new equipment. As a Production Engineer, you will be joining a highly prestigious company with multiple career development opportunities across Aerospace & Defence for your interest.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise including designing, sourcing and commissioning production systems, budgetary management, identification and implementation of continuous improvement through processes, Production Planning and deployment of APQP.

In order to be successful you will need:

* A relevant engineering / manufacturing qualification HND
* Ideally have a Green Belt qualification in Lean Manufacturing Techniques or at the very
least have demonstrable experience of lean manufacturing tools
* Previous proven experience within a manufacturing environment within Aerospace /
Automotive / FMCG or similar
* Strong working knowledge of technical drawings and plant layouts
* In depth knowledge and experience of APQP process with an emphasis on creating and
developing process flow maps, Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control
Plan, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Lean Manufacturing techniques such as
Six Sigma, value stream mapping, 6S, KanBan, Kaizen and operational excellence principles
* Experience in Manufacturing Engineering in an ISO 9001 environment
