The Opportunity
To support the Senior Management Accountant and contribute to the
day to day activities of the business and any other job-related tasks. To
provide and process information accurately and meet demands/deadlines of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices
* Chase and deal with any queries relating to PO's and GRN's
* Assist in the processing of expenses, credit cards and deal with any queries
* Support the Finance Manager and the team with Accounts related queries
* Telephone accounts primarily / reception secondarily
* Assist and maintain the accounts filing system
* Responsible for reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Responsible for the setup of new suppliers
* Assist in preparation of the payment run
* Carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks
Personal Profile
* Some numeracy and accounting skills
* Experience in working with accounting packages
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Working towards or aspire to attain an accounts qualification i.e. AAT
