We are seeking an Assessor/Tutor to deliver lessons that prepare students fully for careers as Adult Health Care practitioners. To deliver Adult Health Care qualifications at level 2 and 3 and level 5 if you have that experience.
DUTIES
* Responsible for teaching, assessment, marking and academic development of the student body.
* Deliver academic subject specific modules to international students from a range of linguistic, educational and cultural backgrounds at level 3
* Remain sensitive to the expectations of different nationalities whilst encouraging an open and questioning approach to learning that leads students to become independent learners
* Provide academic support for students
* Develop and maintain an encouraging classroom environment
* Select, prepare and use teaching and learning materials appropriate for international students
* Assess students throughout their modules, regularly creating, providing and marking both formative and summative evaluations
* Provide detailed oral and written feedback to students and other stakeholders
* Carry out administrative and record-keeping tasks
* Using the course descriptor write a scheme of work, assessments and marking criteria to specified deadlines
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
* Assessor Award or teaching qualification
* Must have taught or assessed in Adult Care

* £30,000 - £34,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
