Job role:
Reporting into the Operations Director, you will lead a team of Commercial Gas specialists to deliver customer centric, high quality, value for money, property safety and compliance services.
You must have your Commercial Gas qualifications and the role will be based at the Bromley office with 1 day per week from site at the Tooley Street office.
Contractual experience across Communal/District heating is a must running Administrators, Planners, Schedulers, Supervisors and Engineers - Teams of 9 Office / 18 Engineers.
As a manager, you'll role model and set direction within your team by being clear on expectations, giving clarity of requirement and supporting the team and individual performance through robust feedback.
Job Responsibilities:
* Delivering the right outcome for our customer in a safe and timely way
* Maintaining high quality data within the property systems
* Setting and maintaining high levels of safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM
* Ensuring a detailed local knowledge of customer, asset and investment needs across your locality
* Engaging and working with residents and groups to develop co-created services.
Job Requirements:
* Technical expertise with demonstrable experience in gas service and repair.
* Experience of managing Commercial gas property safety and compliance services team in a large and complex Housing Association.
* Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a social housing environment.
Required qualifications:
* Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) qualifications and be Gas Safe Registered.
* City and Guilds certificate in gas (service) and/or NVQ Level 3 Gas Service, with Maintenance and/or equivalent nationally recognised examination appropriate to commercial role.
* CIGA1, COMMISSION SERVICE REPAIR & BREAKDOWN OF COMMERCIAL INDIRECT FIRED HEATING APPLIANCES & EQUIP NG/LPG,
* CODNCO1, CHANGEOVER DOMESTIC NATURAL GAS TO COMMERCIAL NG
* TCP1A- Testing and purging up 1m3.
* ICPN1- Commercial Gas Pipework
